Project Prevention is a program that works with families that are at risk of the children being removed from their home due to extreme poverty. Project Prevention collects donations of new and gently used furniture items, household products, cleaning supplies, hygience products, and appliances to distribute to families in need.

Yes. Project Prevention focuses on families that have children under 18 living in the home.

For items to be considered gently used they must not have any foul or unnatural odor, no major stains or cosmetic damage and be 100% usable for their intended purpose.

No. You can contact Project Prevention and arrange a time and place to pick up your donations. Not every donation will qualify for pick up. Contact us to inquire.

Yes. Project Prevention is under the umbrella of the Buffalo Dream Center which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Therefore, all donations made by people living in the United States are tax deductable. It is up to the donor to determine the value of any tangible items donated.
