Instructions:

* Start out the class by challenging the kids to do something that seems impossible. Here are some examples
·Challenge everyone to pat their head and rub their stomach at the same time
·Have everyone (or someone at the front) sit back in their chair with their feet in front of them flat on the floor, their hands in their lay, and their back against the back of the chair. Then tell them to stand up with out moving their hands, back or feet.
·Challenge everyone to draw a square with his or her pointer finger with the left hand, and draw a triangle at the same time with his or her pointer finger on his or her right hand. (To get the everyone going, have them practice each shape separated as a group)
·Have 2 sets of partners come to the front. Hand each team a piece of paper. The only instructions you are to give them is that they are to figure out how to step through their piece of paper. After a while, you demonstrate how to: Pick up a pair of scissor laying somewhere at the front of the room, cut the paper into 4 strips, fasten them strips together with tape or a stapler that is laying in the room (to from a large circle), and then choose a volunteer to come and step through the piece of paper.
·Challenge everyone to walk forward with their feet pointing backwards (usually some double-jointed person can do it)
·Try to hum a song while plugging your nose.
·Have everyone stand up. Challenge them to rotate their left hand in one direction and their right leg in the opposite direction.
