Props:
4 boys
4 girls
2 copies memory verse typed/printed in large print (each word should be cut so it is on a separate piece of paper-each paper should be a different color)
2 different colors of balloons (enough balloons in each color to put one word of the memory verse in one balloon)
2 girls to put the memory verse together
2 boys to put the memory verse together
Table (not necessary)
Instructions:
Copy the memory verse on 2 different colored pieces of paper. Cut out each word of each verse. Roll up each word and stuff them into a coordinating balloon color. Use one color balloon for the boys and another color for the girls. Make sure you are accurate in your stuffing so no words are missing or mixed up with the other teams. Blow up the balloons and store them in garbage bags.
On “go” the first player on each team puts 1 balloon between their knees, and hops to the other end of the room. They pop the balloon and hand the piece of paper to their teammates who are putting the verse together. Then they run back to their team and the next person goes. Everyone on the team keeps going until all his or her balloons are gone. The first team with their verse together wins
