God created us to worship Him
-I need some volunteers
-One to sweep with the broom
-One to play with a ball
-One to look at their watch
-One to drink a can of pop
-What are these people all doing?
-They are all showing us how useful something is.
-(Go through each item and person and discuss its usefulness)
-For example: This broom was made to help us clean up messes

-Who did God form? People
-What did He create us for? Praise
How does God want us to praise Him?
Bible Verse: “Make a joyful shout to God all the earth; Sing out the honor of His name; Make
His praise glorious.” Psalm 66:1
Praise is an action
-This verse is going to teach us some things about how God wants us to praise Him.
-Let’s look at the first word “Make”
-What does that mean? – We need to do something
-What if I say – go make your bed, go make your lunch, go make me some coffee?
-Make = Action
-Praising God = action
How does God want us to Make His Praise?
“Make His praise glorious”
-How do we make God’s praise Glorious
-The word glorious means a three different meanings
-There are 3 things WE need to do to make His praise glorious
1.Spectacular
-Who likes fireworks?
-Fireworks are spectacular
-When you see fireworks you say “OO-AH-WOW”
-Have the kid’s practice saying “OO-AH-WOW”
-God will be in heaven saying, “OO-AH-WOW”
1.Enjoyable
-We should have fun and enjoy worshipping God
1.Superior
-Means better than last time
-When we worship God today, it should be better than last time.
