God Loves Me –Paper To Money

Props:
$1.00 bill
Piece of white paper the same size
Glue
Instructions:
Trick: Put the piece of paper and the $1.00 bill back to back. Fold one of them up in a neat little package leaving one side on the left touching. Glue that little part together. Once the glue is dry, fold up whichever one you did not previously fold. Now you should have 2 little packets folded together.
When you are talking first reveal the plain piece of paper with the folded $1.00 bill hiding behind it. As you talk fold the plain paper and switch the $1.00 bill so it is in front. Unfold the $1.00 so that the plain paper is hiding behind it. It appears that you have turned a plain piece of paper into a $1.00 bill.
Discussion:
The Bible teaches us that God loves all of us very, very much. God created all of us. He made us very special. He gave each of us special talents, gifts and abilities. We are all different from each other. We are all special.
(Hold up the plain piece of paper)
Sometimes when we look at ourselves or think about ourselves, we think that we are plain and boring. We think that there is nothing special about us. Sometimes we just think we are average-just like everyone else. Some people even think they are less than average. Some people think they are worthless and useless.
This is not true at all.
God created each one of us special. He carefully created each one of us with abilities and talents. He gave each of us our own special look. He gave each of us our own special personality. We are all different. We are all special to God.
God did not make us worthless! God made us valuable. We are valuable to God.
God has a special plan for us. He loves us very much. God looks at us as useful and valuable.
(Unfold the $1.00 bill)
