Noah trusted in God, and let God direct his paths.
-Noah was the only person living for God at the time.
-God told Noah He was going to send a flood and destroy everything because the earth was so evil. God was very sad about the world.
-God wanted to save Noah’s family, and some of each kind of animal. God wanted to start the world over.
-God gave Noah exact plan about a big boat He was to build to save his family and the animals.
-Noah built the boat in his back yard.
-Everyone made fun of him because nobody had ever even seen rain or a big boat before, and they didn’t believe in God. All Noah’s neighbors thought Noah was crazy.
-It took Noah a long time to build the ark. The ark was 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet tall. It had 3 levels
-Noah, his wife and kid’s and their families, and all the animals boarded the ark.
-It rained for 40 days, and then the water stayed on the earth for another
-150 days. For 190 days (just over 6 months) all the animals and Noah’s family plus all their food etc. . . stayed on the ark.
-When Noah thought the waters were drying up, he sent out a raven, but it didn’t find dry land.
-Then Noah sent out a dove, but it came back because it couldn’t find dry land.
-After seven more days Noah sent out another dove, it came back with an olive branch.
-Then he sent the dove out one more time and it didn’t come back. It was time to leave the ark. (It had been over 7 months since they boarded the ark)
-Everyone and all the animals left the ark.
-They built an altar and worshipped God
-God sent a rainbow in the sky, and made this promise “ I will never again destroy every living thing as I have done, even though man’s heart is evil.”
-Today in honor of God’s promise to direct our paths, when we trust in Him, we are going to make a rainbow.
-Pour in:
-Red light corn syrup
-Yellow glycerin
-Green water
-Clear cooking oil
-Blue alcohol

-The next time you see a rainbow remember the story of Noah.
-Noah trusted God
-God directed Noah
-God kept his promises
