Discussion:

His dad favored him.
(Joseph and dad walk across stage – Dad with arm around Joseph)

This made his brothers very angry and probably made Joseph feel uncomfortable

He had to wear a rainbow coat his dad gave him.
(Joseph walk across the stage wearing and ugly coat)

This was not cool even a couple thousand years ago.

Joseph’s brothers hated him, and so they beat him up and threw him in a pit.
(Brothers beat him up and carry or drag him off stage)

Then, his brothers sold him off as a slave.
(Have someone walk across stage whipping Joseph)

He went to work for a man whose wife decided to fall in love with him.
(Have a girl chase Joseph across stage flirting with him)

His boss was so mad, he had Joseph put in jail. It wasn’t even Joseph’s fault
(Have 2 people walk across stage with Joseph like they are taking him off to jail)

Then everyone forgot about Joseph who was in jail.
(Have everyone walk across stage shrugging their shoulder saying “Joseph who is he?”
