Storyteller: Well I tried really hard to book Abraham as a Kidz Club guest but it seems that he was out of the country or something so, I decided to invite his wife instead. I figured it would be boring if I just told you about Abraham. She should be coming any minute.

Yell - Sarah, Sarah, we are ready for you.

(Sarah walks out) Wow, you are not what I expected. You are a lot younger looking than I pictured Sarah. How old are you?

Sarah: About 96 years old

Storyteller: Sarah you have been through quite a bit with your husband, yet you were telling me earlier that you love him more than ever. Is that true?

Sarah: Yes.

Storyteller: From what I remember you told me that when you were first married you lived in a city called Ur. Now I heard that Ur was a very nice city - very advanced. Is that true?

Sarah: Yes

Storyteller: I also heard that your family was very well-off, in other words, rich. You had lots of animals and many men that worked for you.

Well, it must have been kind of hard for you when Abraham came to you and said that you were moving.

Sarah: No it wasn't.

Storyteller: I don't understand. You had to pack everything up. You had to leave some of your family behind. You had to sleep in tents. You didn't even know exactly where you were going. All your husband told you was that God said we are to go to Caanan.

Sarah: No. It wasn't hard because we put our trust in God.

Storyteller: You sure did. It is easy to do what God says sometimes, but other times it is really hard. You and Abraham are a good example to us. You taught us how important it is to obey God even when it isn't easy, or popular.

Sarah, thanks for coming today. Tell your husband we said "hi."
