Introduction:
I noticed that the last couple weeks when we reviewed the 4 Most Important things that some boys and girls didn’t know them so well. Maybe you are fairly new to Kidz Club.

The Most Important things you could ever learn are the 4 Most Important Things.

Maybe someday you will forget everything about Kidz Club, and maybe you will forget me. It is important that you never forget the 4 Most Important Things.

Today we are going to review and talk about them, so that every boy and girl here knows the 4 Most Important Things.

1. God loves me
-God loves each one of us very much.
-You are all special to Him.
-He made each of us special

(Hold up the yard stick)

This stick reminds me of the kind of love humans have
-The love we have can have a beginning and an end.
-It can seem like people stop loving us.
-We can get mad at someone and “stop” loving them.

(Hold up the hula hoop)

-This hula hoop reminds me of the kind of love God has for us
-Notice there is no beginning or end to this hula hoop
-God’s love for us has no end
-God doesn’t stop loving us when we ignore Him, or do something that makes Him sad
-God never stops loving us.
-God will love us forever and ever and ever.

2. I have sinned
-The Bible teaches us that everyone has sinned.
-What is sin?
-Sin are the things we do that make Jesus sad.
-We have all done things that make Jesus sad

(Hold up metal hanger. As you name a sin, bend the hanger.)

-When we sin we mess up or life.
-Lying is a sin
-Cheating is a sin
-Stealing from the store or our friends is a sin.
-Disobeying our parents is a sin.
-Being mean to other kids is a sin.
-See I have totally messed up the shape of this hanger.
-Do you think I can get it back into shape? (Demonstrate)
-It would be totally impossible for me to bend this hanger back to the way it was.
-Boys and girls, it is impossible for us to straighten up our lives on our own.
-There is only one person who can help us.

JESUS

3. Jesus died for me.
-We just talked about sin or bad things we do to make Jesus sad.
-When you do something bad –what do you deserve?
-We deserve to be punished.
-Imagine your mom told you to do all the dishes. You disobeyed her. When she got home she said, “ You are not allowed to watch any TV tonight or talk on the phone because you disobeyed.”
-Did you deserve that punishment?
-Now what if your big sister said, “Mom, don’t punish them – punish me. Let _______watch TV and talk on the phone. I will do the dishes and be punished for __________not doing them.”
-This is what Jesus did for us-except the punishment was much worse.
-The Bible teaches that our sins deserve to be punished by death.
-Jesus said – “God-Dad, don’t punish those humans for the things they have done to displease you. Punish me instead.”
-Jesus died as a punishment for your sin.

4. I must decide to live for Jesus.
-This is the most important point
-In order to help you understand this point, I have brought a lamp here today.
-I am going to turn this lamp on and show you how great it works.

(The lamp should be unplugged)

-I love this lamp and I don’t understand why it is not working.

(Hopefully the kids will realize it is not plugged in)

-In order for my lamp to work properly, it has to be plugged in.
-It has to be plugged in so, electricity flows through it.
-When there is electricity in the lamp, then the lamp will work properly.

Conclusion:
-Boys and girls, we need to be plugged into Jesus
-We need to have Jesus inside of us in order for our life to work properly.
-Jesus promises us two things when we decide to live for Him.
-He promises to forgive our sins
-He promises us the gift of Eternal Life
