The Way To Escape

Verse: You can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can stand. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13
Props:
1 piece of rope
Instructions:
Illusion:
1.Hang a rope around your neck.
2.Take your left hand and bring the right rope back around the neck to the left side.
3.As you do, you are also going to take your right hand and form a loop at the back of the neck with the left rope.
4.The right rope as it is coming to the left side should catch the loop-this will hold it in place.
5.It looks like the ropes are wrapped around your neck sort of like a noose.
6.When you pull on each end of the rope it looks like the rope penetrates your neck. What actually happens is that the rope is released from the loop in the back of your neck. Once you practice, pull the rope hard, fast, and forward to make it look as if it penetrated your neck.

Lesson:
In life we all find ourselves in situations we shouldn’t be in.
Maybe we take a step down the wrong path.
Maybe we follow our friends, and then before we even realize it we are headed in the wrong direction.
However, we get there, we find ourselves in situations that hold us captive.
It seems like there is no way out.
It seems like we have to do something we just know isn’t right.
It seems like we have to disobey God and maybe our parents.
At some time or another we all find our selves in a very difficult situation that we would rather not be in.
(The rope should be around your neck by now)
How are we going to get out??
Maybe it looks impossible.
When you find yourself in this situation I want you to remember something very important.
1:Corinthians 10:13 says - You can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can stand. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation.
When we face these types of situations, we must remember that God will always provide a way out if we trust in HIM.
God will give us the courage and strength to do what is right.
God will give us an escape route
God will help us!!
GOD WILL ALWAYS MAKE A WAY OUT OF A BAD SITUATION –IF WE TRUST HIM
