Index card (heavy paper)
Bowl

Science Experiment
-Fill a glass with water.
-Sent an index card on the top of the glass.
-Put fingers on the index card and turn over (apply a little pressure). Talk about how your hand is holding the water in the glass. What do you think would happen if I remove my hand?
-Slowly remove the hand holding the card. Hold over a bowl.
-The index card should hold the water in the glass.
-How is this working? The air is holding the card in place.
-We cannot see the air can we?
-Who believes there is air? The air is always there. (What makes a whistle blow? What does a fan blow? What causes the wind to blow? What makes a sailboat sail?)
-God is always there for us.
-We cannot see God, but He always keeps His promises and He is always there for us.
-We need to put our trust in God
