Characteristics of a Leader in the Church

The Bible gives a list of twenty character traits that every leader in the church should have. The list goes beyond generalizations and gives specific characteristics of a man or woman of God. None of the characteristics have to do with spiritual gifts. The list has to do with a person’s reputation, ethics, morality, temperament, habits, and spiritual maturity. Although these are characteristics of a leader, they are also traits that every Christian should strive to possess.
