EVANGELISM WEEK (10+ yrs)

Starting & finishing in Tegucigalpa, Honduras

$650** ($50 deposit with application)

Passport required
Must be 10 years or older for this trip. Anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult chaperone or parent.

This trip will be based out of Tegucigalpa.  You will stay at the Love Honduras mission house.  During the trip you will travel to different colonies in Tegucigalpa and various nearby cities to spread the love of Jesus. Outreaches will include door-to-door evangelism, children’s programs, evangelistic campfires, clothing and food giveaways, hospital visitations, and more.  You will go to places and minister to people who are overlooked by others, including the garbage dumps, the red light district, and abandoned buildings.  Not only will Jesus use you to change people’s lives, but also your life will be changed by Jesus. Ages 10 and up may come.  However, anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult chaperone or parent.

MONTAÑA DE LA FLOR MEN’S WORK WEEK (15+ yrs)

Must be a male, 15 years or older for this trip.

You will spend five days in Montana De La Flor, home of one of Honduras’ indigenous people groups – the Tolupanes. It is one of the poorest areas in all of Honduras. You will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the people of the mountain in a practical way. The focus of this trip will be to use your skills to do work projects such as building a house, repairing a roof, painting a school, plumbing, and more.  Then every evening you will have the opportunity to be a part of an evangelistic campfire.  The team will sleep in a community center on the floor in one of the communities in the mountain. The community center has electricity and bathrooms. There is no phone signal or Wi-Fi in the mountain. As you put to work your skills to share the love of Jesus with the Tolupanes, you also will be refreshed. This trip is for men ages 15 and up.

YOUTH MISSIONS TRIP (16-25 yrs)

Must be 16-25 years old for this trip.

During this trip, your team will be based in Tegucigalpa and will travel for the day to other communities and cities to do outreaches.  The goal of this trip will be to specifically reach youth with the Gospel and stir up a fresh passion for Jesus in youth who are already serving Jesus.  Ministry opportunities will include schools, the red light district, street evangelism, the garbage dump, hospital ministry, door-to-door evangelism, evangelistic campfires, and youth meetings in churches.  You will have the opportunity to impact your generation in another country on this mission trip.  This trip is for ages 16-25 years of age.

You will have the opportunity to see and serve at some of the Love Honduras feeding programs in the mountain.  Ministry opportunities will include children’s programs, door-to-door evangelism, distribution of donations, movie nights, small work projects, cleaning houses, and evangelistic campfires in the evening.  The team will sleep in a community center on the floor in one of the communities in the mountain. The community center has electricity and bathrooms. There is no phone signal or Wi-Fi in the mountain. As you minister the love of Jesus to the people of the mountain you will be refreshed with His love and you will not want to leave. Ages 10 and up may come however anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult chaperone or parent.

** Fine Print Details

• Passports are required for all travelers with at least six months left on their passport before it expires.

• You must fill out an application and pay the registration fee of $50.00 to be considered for any trip.  

•You are responsible for your own plane ticket and travel expenses.  Do not buy your plane ticket until your application has been approved.  When you book your ticket you must arrive and depart from the correct city on the correct day during the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  If you are later or early you will have to wait at the airport or pay an extra fee of $50.00 for airport transportation.

• The above prices included your room & board, all your meals, and transportation.  It does not include your airfare, travel expenses, spending money, or personal necessities.  If you have a special diet you are responsible for your extra personal food needs.
